Salticidae Burmattus

Burmattus albopunctatus (Thorell, 1895)

Four-dotted Grass Jumper

Both males and females show four white dots on the posterior half of the abdomen. This species was previously classified under the genus Plexippus.

HabitatGrasses and foliage in wasteland and gardens. Females are often found in silken retreats on the under surfaces of grass blades.
