Black-faced Jumper
In frontal view, the male has an unmistakable black "face", with a black clypeus and chelicerae. The image of a black face is reinforced by the black colouration of the entire length of the male palps, along with the black femora I and tibiae I.
In the female, only the chelicerae, and parts of the palps and tibiae I are black.
In both sexes, but particularly in the males, the sides of the carapace are covered by long hairs pointing to the front of the body.
The species was named in honour of Prof. Li Daiqin of the National University of Singapore.
