Polymorphic Translucent Spider
This species is notable for the variability of its abdominal shape and pattern. The shape may range from a teardrop to a rhombus, sometimes with a truncated (flat) posterior end in dorsal view. The abdominal colouration may vary but all have at least some transverse lines on the anterior half of the dorsum. Some individuals have two pairs of pale coloured patches on the posterior half of the dorsum, coupled with irregular pale-coloured patches on the sides. Despite all these differences, their female copulatory organs appear identical.
