Singapore Feather-duster Tarantula
This specimen, heavily infested with parasitic mites around the chelicerae, has a leg span of approximately 11 cm, and is easily recognised by its two-toned legs. Its presence in Singapore is established only through the photographic records here, without a voucher specimen. Its general colouration, as shown in the photographs, differs significantly from that of the C. valida male. However, it cannot be assumed that it is C. cunicularia until a specimen is available for examination.
