Yellow Dwarf Orb Weaver
This species is recognised by a yellow, globular abdomen with a pair of short posterior tubercles. Several long stiff bristles are present on the abdomen and legs (patellae and tibiae). The male has three clasping spines ventrally on tibia I which are used during mating.

Biology | Several webs can often be found near one another within the same microhabitat. Like Patu sp.. egg sacs are placed at the periphery of the web. |
