Crimson Jumper
This newly discovered Singapore species represents a new record of the genus outside Philippines. An unmistakeable jumper recognised by the relatively large size and crimson abdomen. The abdomen is predominantly and densely covered with red hairs with the exception of the anterior quarter, which is adorned with iridescent greenish setae. The margins of the abdomen are lined with longer black hairs laterally and bright red hairs posteriorly. The tibiae and metatarsi of leg I are covered in a brush of short stiff hairs. In front view, the chelicerae are conspicuously lined with transverse grooves.
