Grass Orb Weaver
In both sexes, the elongated and pointed abdomen is orangish red with a median orange streak outlined in yellow. The long legs are armed with long spines, especially among the males.

Habitat | Grassy areas and damp parts of wasteland. |
Biology | It spins a loosely woven orb web (meaning with large mesh). Outside the web, the spider habitually aligns itself with a blade or the inflorescence of long grasses such as the common weed "lalang" (Imperata cylindrica). |
