Common Southeast Asian Neriene
In both sexes, the abdomen is broadly rounded posteriorly, and protrudes towards the rear and slopes steeply towards the spinnerets, giving it an excavated or caved-in look when viewed from the side. The male dorsum has a large median brownish girdle. The abdomen of the female is black with a pair of lateral streaks made of white blotches around the middle, and two pairs of shorter and indistinct white lateral bands nearer the spinnerets.
