Two-spotted Crab Spider
The species differs from the other Pharta sp. in Singapore (featured above) by having more darkly coloured tibiae I and metatarsi I. The name "bimaculata" (referring to the "two spots" on the dorsum) is somewhat misleading, as the abdominal pattern is highly variable, as shown in the photos of both sexes here. In some individuals. the entire dorsum is spotted without having two particularly prominent spots.
