Theridiidae Phycosoma

Phycosoma martinae (Roberts, 1983)

Spotted Box-headed Spider

This widespread species is recognised chiefly by the paired spots on the abdomen in both sexes. The number of spots vary, ranging from three to four pairs. A distinct dorsal scutum is present on the abdomen of the male.
