Pale Spitting Spider
This species is similar to Scytodes sp.. with common features such as having fine black lines on a pale carapace and abdomen, resembling delicate ink brush calligraphy. Both have eyes that appear reddish orange under certain angles of light.
However, the black lines on the body of S. pallida are more distinct. While Scytodes sp. lives in disturbed or man-made environments such as foliage of roadside trees and streetscape shrubbery, S. pallida is a forest dweller.
