Rake-faced Crab spider
All Strigoplus have a characteristic wide and protruding clypeus armed with a single row of short and stiff spines. Similar spines are spread across the area between the AME and PME. The chelicerae are also armed with stiff and long spines. The carapace is pockmarked with sockets each bearing a long and stiff spine.
The species name "albostriatus" means "white lines" in Latin. It refers to the white transverse white lines on the leading edge and posterior half of the abdomen.
