Yellow-and-black Bead Crab Spider
The carapace of Talaus is characteristically short, convex and shiny. The abdomen is pea-like. In T. xiphosus, the abdomen has a basic pattern made up of two pairs of black spots. Details may vary among individuals, e.g., there may be an additional smaller pair of black spots anteriorly; the anterior pair may be separated by a short median stripe, or both may merge as one, or linked by a narrow bar.
