Doubled-fingered Tree Bark Armoured Spider
The male of this species is unusual in two ways. First, the cheliceral projections are much reduced, with each appearing like a little finger rather than a prominent tusk as in Tetrablemma sp. A. Second, the eye group of the male is located slightly in front of the midpoint of the carapace, whilst the eye group of most other Tetrablemma are positioned at or behind the midpoint of the carapace. In both sexes, the reticulate carapace has a medial tubercle from which a single stiff bristle emerges.
