Yellow-spotted Theridula
The Theridula species found in Singapore has a glossy abdomen that appears like a rugby ball (in dorsal view), and a spinning top with the spinnerets pointing downwards (in posterior view). The colouration and pattern may vary from dark brown to black, and the bright yellow blotches on the dorsum may vary from two to six. The carapace may be completely black, or black medially and bracketed by a pair of translucent bands. The legs are translucent.
