Chocolate-faced Crab Spider
This is the most common species of Thomisus in Singapore. As with other Thomisus species females, the general body colour is variable; it may be white, yellowish white, or pure yellow, sometimes even with brown markings and a greenish tinge. The mature female can be distinguished from other Thomisus by the possession of a uniformly brown-coloured ocular area (the "face").

Biology | They feed mainly on bees and butterflies, but occasionally caterpillars. Eggs are enveloped in dense white silk within a hidden leaf shelter guarded by the mother. |
