Smiley Ant Hunter
The male abdomen has a large brownish anterio-dorsal scutum and displays a colour pattern that vaguely suggests a smiling face.
The glossy dark chestnut brown carapace has a distinct longitudinal thoracic groove. On the sides of the posterior carapace are faint dark brown radial markings indicating the presence of a few extremely shallow radial grooves.
