Curved-tusked Leaf Daddy-long-legs
This foliage-dwelling species has a plain and translucent carapace, and a pale and longish abdomen which has a touch of pinkish brown dorsally. The male is recognised by its palpal structures in combination with the shapes of its upper and lower cheliceral apophyses (white and yellow respectively). The lower apophyses are tusk-like with the tips pointing slightly downwards and towards the mid-line of the body axis. The female is distinguished from other Belisana species in Singapore by the unique structures of its copulatory organ, the red pigmentation around the eyes, and other carapace and abdominal characters mentioned earlier.
