Besut Armoured Spider
In all Brignoliella species, both sexes are six-eyed. The sternum is pockmarked with tiny button-like structures each with a stiff bristle. The margin of the carapace is armed with small teeth.
Brignoliella males have a horn-like structure mounted on the clypeus. and tiny cones on the chelicerae.
Brignoliella females are recognised by having reproductive organ opening through a pit on one of the abdominal plates
In B. besutensis, the clypeus horn of the male is short and has a two-pointed tip. The female differs from B. michaeli by the details of its ventral plates.
