Michael’s Armoured Spider
This is a brownish spider showing the generic characters already noted under B. besutensis. such as having six eyes, tiny teeth on the margin of the carapace, and in the case of the male, a horn projecting from the clypeus.
Males of B. michaeli are distinguished from B. besutensis and most other Brignoliella species by their particularly long horn with a forked tip. Females have exceptionally large circular pits on the sternum. Other distinguishing features include microscopic details of the ventral plates and in the male palps.
