Broad-carapaced Sac Spider
This species is a member of a species group different from that of Clubiona sp. D (above). They are defined by certain characters in their genitalia. This particular species can be recognised instantly by the broad carapace and its relatively slender legs. Although the specimen shown here has an almost black abdomen, it is uncertain if this is a consistent character of the species until enough specimens have been collected.
