Syringe Palp Gelotia
G. syringopalpis can be recognised by a median streak of white setae on the carapace, a paired streak of white setae at the anterior end of the abdomen, the bronze and vaguely iridescent hairs covering the body, in combination with a pair of enlarged PME. The male is easily recognised by a syringe-like process of its palp.
