Chocolate Goblin Spider
The male is similar to I. dactylinus in having a darkened belt with a finely reticulate (mesh-like) pattern around the margins of the carapace. In both sides, the dorsal abdominal scutum are well sclerotised, and cover almost 5/6 of the abdominal length. The female carapace, as well as the dorsal abdominal scutum in both sexes, are uniformly chocolate-coloured. Such a colouration inspired the species name "brunneus", meaning "brown" in Latin.
