Folded Carapace Goblin Spider
The male is easily recognised by several unusual features on the carapace. First, a strongly protruding extension (spe) projects from the anterior margin of the clypeus. Second, the anterior margins of the carapace are folded with a heavily sclerotised triangular extension. Third, the sides appeared laced with a mesh-like pattern.
The carapace of the female is striated (finely streaked). The scutum on the dorsum of the female is about half the length of the abdomen.
