Large Black-palped Goblin Spider
The female differs from those of other oonopids in Singapore by its comparatively larger size (>2 mm), a reduced and weakly sclerotised abdominal scutum. and a highly elongated and convoluted duct system in its copulatory organ (not shown). It is closely related to, if not identical with, I. serpentinum Saaristo, 2001, first described from the Seychelles, but subsequently found in Madagascar, and different parts of Java in Indonesia.
