Samosa Red-eyed Spider
This female of this species may be distinguished from other Janula in Singapore by its relatively large size (>3 mm in length) and the samosa-shaped abdomen with round corners and nearly truncated posterior margin in dorsal view. Most females are coloured brown with irregular median, lateral and posterior black streaks. The male abdomen is triangular with a darkish yellow medial patch on the dorsum.
