Mallinella sp. "Moustached"

Moustached Glossy Ant-hunter

As in other Mallinella, its clypeus is high and flat. The dorsum appears superficially similar to that of Workmania juvenca. but the details differ: the transverse bands over the abdomen appear more like moustaches rather than short dashes, and there is a broad anchor-shaped white dorsal spot at the posterior abdominal tip. Unlike Workmania males found in Singapore, the femora are banded in black at the distal end.
