Short-haired Glossy Ant-hunter

This species resembles M. allorostrata. with both species sharing some pale and faint markings near the posterior end of the abdomen. However, this species does not have the long and bristly abdominal hairs as shown in M. allorostrata. Instead, the hairs on the abdomen are short and appressed.
