Kerengga Ant Jumper
The male and female share several characteristics: a highly elevated cephalic region raising almost vertically from the thoracic region, a long pedicel, a long abdomen constricted in the middle, the reddish-orange colouration similar to the common red weaver "kerengga" ants (Oecophylla) which the female mimics. They are also notable by their sheer size (> 6 mm in length, longer if the highly elongated male chelicerae are included in the measurement).
The extraordinarily extended chelicerae of the males are swollen at the apex, each with a pointed projection and a black dot below.
