Mighty Big-headed Jumper
This species is recognised by its large size. The male is recognised by the thickset and black cephalothorax, a herring bone pattern on the dorsum, and dense brushes of hairs on tibiae and metatarsi I and II, and a tuft of white hairs on tarsi I and II.
The females are large, usually exceeding 10 mm in length. The carapace has a median band of white hairs. The abdomen has a broad light-coloured band, at least anteriorly.
