Bleeding Mango Jumper
With a V-shaped orange marking on the carapace, and a median orange band on the abdomen, the male appears superficially like the male of Epocilla calcarata. However, they may be distinguished by their palp structures. The male of this Telamonia may also be recognised by the beaded white stripe along the midline of the median abdominal band. [There is no such beaded white line in E. calcarata.]
The female of this Telamonia, with its striking white, red and yellow combination, is perhaps the most attractive Telamonia species in Singapore.
