Thelcticopis sp. "Stout-legged"

Stout-legged Heavy Huntsman

This species resembles Thelcticopis sp. B (above) by having a black carapace and chelicerae, but the body is not as densely covered with short white hair. The legs and abdomen are stouter, and more darkly coloured. It is tempting to speculate that it may be the female of Thelcticopis sp. B, but more evidence is required to support such a belief.
