Variegated Brown Ant Hunter
The male is easily recognised by its glossy body with different shades of brown. The female attracts attention by its bold motif and contrasting colouration. The glossy carapace devoid of a thoracic groove, but with numerous finely sculptured grooves parallel to its lateral margins are clearly discernible on the lower left picture.
