Tetragnathidae Dolichognatha

Dolichognatha deelemanae Smith, 2008

Yellow Long-jawed Orb Weaver

In both sexes, the abdomen is extended dorsally with a pointed peak. A swelling may be seen at the posterior end of the venter, especially noticeable in the female. The chelicerae of the male are as long as the cephalothorax, and are armed with conspicuous teeth. The anterior part of the cephalothorax of the male of this species is slightly domed.
