Singapore Giraffe Spider
This is a rare Singapore spider with a bizarre-looking male. The front part of the cephalothorax in the male is extended and elevated, reminiscent of the long neck of a giraffe. Its chelicerae are longer than the cephalothorax, with the base of their fangs positioned far below the ventral side of the body. The eyes of this species are surrounded by reddish brown pigment. The abdomen has two pairs of humps.
