Nentwig’s Two-tailed Spider
This species shares certain characters with H. deelemanae. Both have extraordinarily long legs, a band of white hairs across the clypeus. a reddish patch on the carapace and a pair of black bracket-like marks on the anterior lateral edges of the abdomen. However, the two species can be easily distinguished by the larger size of H. nentwigi. Some females are almost double the size of H. deelemanae. While some male H. nentwigi may be as small as those of H. deelemanae, it is not uncommon to find males that are 1.5 times larger.
