Burmese Lynx Spider
It is difficult to distinguish this species from O. javanus (below) and from the more common O. lineatipes by body pattern and colouration. Body size may provide a clue as the largest females of this species may outsize the females of O. javanus and O. lineatipes. However, some female O. birmanicus individuals still fall within the size range of the other Oxyopes in Singapore. They may be identified accurately only through microscopic examination of the male and female copulatory organs.
