Brown-streaked Dorsal Hump Spider
The species name is derived from a combination of the Latin words for "abdomen" and "celsus", with the latter meaning "lofty", "prominent" or "elevated". This refers to the dorsal hump towards the posterior of the abdomen of the female. This hump appears most prominent in lateral view. The colouration of individuals may vary within this species, but dark brown markings and streaks are always present.
