Halloween Comb-footed Spider
This spider is tentatively placed in the taxonomic mixed bag of Parasteatoda because it shows the genitalia characteristic of typical members of the genus. The female attracts immediate attention with its orange-and-black colouration associated with Halloween. The male is predominantly red with a white-spotted black patch on the posterior half of the abdomen.
