Spiny Phoroncidia
An easily recognised Phoroncidia with long and prominent spines, and a tubular extension of the ventral abdomen surrounding the spinnerets. The males are usually reddish, and have a protruding eye region that is almost tubular.
In Singapore, this species is extremely rare and known only in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Central Catchment Nature Reserve.
