T-motif Comb-footed Spider
The female is similar to but smaller than Nihonhimea mundula and has on the posterior abdomen a white motif shaped like the letter T. In some individuals the T may appear inverted.
The male is significantly smaller and has a distinctly protruding ocular area above a flat and high clypeus. Legs I are disproportionately long and robust. Straddling the abdomen is a π shaped motif in white (also on the female), but (unlike the female) there is no T marking. The giant palps are easily seen from above. In lateral view its large and backward pointing embolic parts look like scimitars.
