Smiley Zebra Comb-Footed Spider
With an abdomen banded like a zebra, the female appears similar to Theridion sp. A but it may be instantly recognised by the "smiley" face at the posterior end of the abdomen, coupled with some yellow spots nearer the spinnerets. The background colouration of the abdomen is dominated by yellow rather than white. The male is orangish red, and is almost indistinguishable from that of Theridion sp. A, except that it is bigger, and the spinnerets are surrounded by a pair of almost kidney-shaped black spots that are proportionally larger than the black spots in the same area of Theridion sp. A.
