Tiny Spiny Mandarin Orange Spider
With a colour and abdominal surface that call to mind the image of a Mandarin orange, this tiny species looks superficially like a Cephalobares male or certain Theridion species. However, because of the structure of its genitalia, it is placed in Chrysso. Nevertheless, such a placement is provisional, as it differs from the Chrysso species shown on earlier pages by having more and longer spines on the legs, as well as more, and longer, hairs on its abdomen. Furthermore, none of the other Chrysso in Singapore shows such striking orange colouration.
