Yellow Polka Dot Spider
The female appears comical and attractive with a polka dot design on a yellow body. The "polka dots" are made of the black eye cluster on the carapace, a pair of shiny, jet black, and button-like tubercles on the anterior half of the dorsum, and another pair of similar, albeit larger, tubercles at the posterior half. Like several other Chrysso featured on earlier pages, the abdomen has blade setae, and its lower half is translucent. This species is placed under Chrysso on a provisional basis, as typical Chrysso do not have such button-like tubercles on the abdomen.
