Green & Yellow Jade Jumper
Like all other Epeus females in Singapore, the face has a band of white setae below the anterior eyes. With a pair of longitudinal bands of white setae on the dorsum, this female resembles those of E. sumatranus and Epeus sp. G (below). However, it can be separated from them by its different reproductive organ and its greenish colouration. In some females, the abdomen may be more slender (shrunken) than those pictured here. In older females, the setae on the two abdominal bands may have rubbed off and the spider appears to have a plain green abdomen with a slight reddish tinge posteriorly.
