Tuning Fork Jumper
This jumper with a broad Y pattern (like a tuning fork) in black on the carapace is provisionally placed in the genus Epeus because the structure of the male palps is consistent with those of other Epeus species. However, in terms of colouration and body pattern, this species looks like a Telamonia. Compared with other Epeus, it is smaller and has shorter legs. It also does not have the translucent jade-like carapace with tufts of erect setae seen in some of the "mohawk" Epeus species.
