Black-and-Silver Orb Weaver
The smallest of the three Leucauge in Singapore, this species is easily identified by its short and nearly perpendicular abdomen. Conspicuous silvery patches adorn the abdomen whose background colour may be completely black, or one with a mixed pattern of brown and black. The female carapace is marked by a black Y-shaped median band and black lateral edges which are covered by wart-like sockets each with a short spine.
