Tetragnathidae Leucauge

Leucauge decorata (Blackwall, 1864)

Decorative Silver Orb Weaver

The abdomen has two slight humps in front, and its posterior end is extended beyond the spinnerets. The three longitudinal lines on the dorsum are connected by diagonal lines in most specimens. Laterally there are some bold black and yellow stripes. The venter is green.

Length♀ 7–9 mm; ♂ 3 mm.
HabitatGrasses and low shrubs in shaded and moist environment.
