Long-waisted Ant-Mimic Jumper
This longbodied Myrmarachne is easily recognised by its unusually long pedicel. measuring more than 1/3 of the length of its carapace. There are lateral white bands delineating the division between the cephalic and thoracic parts of the carapace. The abdomen is slender and constricted. While some females may have a blackandbrown abdomen, most individuals have a black abdomen covered with rings of white hair.
