Long Drumstick Ant Jumper
These tiny jumpers show a remarkable resemblance to Dolichoderus ants in size and colouration, and in fact live or forage among these ants. Unlike many other Myrmarachne, the abdomen is exceptionally short and rounded. The males have extraordinarily elongated chelicerae with swollen ends. The species was formerly known as Myrmarachne hanoii.
